HEY, I'M GRADY
I’m a senior concept artist and illustrator in the game and animation industry, with clients like Wizards Of The Coast, Blur, Paramount, Eidos and Disney, and I’ve been a professional for over 10 years. I have a tremendous passion for atmospheric storytelling and design.
I started my career in background painting for animation, but always wanted to be a concept or visual development artist. After self-teaching and landing a few indie projects, I decided to spend all of my savings to go to school in Montreal and learn from real working professionals. Long story short, I have been a professional concept artist and illustrator ever since! I also run Patreon and YouTube, and I'm writing and illustrating my own book called Black Shore.
I hope to impart as much knowledge and experience as I can, but most of all I am fervently committed to helping others find joy and fulfillment through the pursuit of drawing and painting.

Grady is a great instructor. His teachings are not limited to the technical aspects of draftsmanship and design but also convey the philosophical aspects of the creation process. Because of this, he has successfully created a community that shares a passion for these aspects and, of course, loves his visually appealing creations. Even with all this, what really makes me look up to Grady as an example to follow is his authenticity; Grady is not trying to sell you the quickest magical way to become a real artist, but the slow and bumpy path with ups and downs that will make you a strong artist at a foundational level. Definitely recommend.
